our story
It all began in the Dominican Republic. I had just lost my husband after 15 years of marriage. Shelby and I went there to scatter some of my husband’s ashes. My husband and I had gone there for our 15th wedding anniversary just a few months earlier and it was our best vacation ever. Shelby was working on an investment in an Airbnb in Michigan with her boyfriend, Keith at the time. since I was born and bred in Michigan, we decided it would be an awesome opportunity to go into this together! we talked about a few options when we were there and when we got back, we got the ball rolling. Within a few months, we had our logo, our holding companies and our llc.
The passing of my husband at such a young age gave me a whole new perspective on life. it is meant to be lived and enjoyed. Shelby was like a daughter to my husband and I and now she and I will carry on my husband's overwhelming passion to LIVE life to its fullest while we are here. this is the first of many adventures to come and one we are passionate to share with all of you!

Our cabins cater to the whole family! You will find either fully fenced yards or dog runs at each property. Other amenities include furnished dog food and water bowls, indoor and outdoor dog toys, natural dog treats, and a cozy dog bed for your fur babies. *All household plants are safe for dogs.

Our homes are stocked with eco-friendly linens. Our bathrooms have oversized 100% Turkish cotton towels and our bedroom sheets are spun from 100% Cotton or bamboo.
